Knowing the different kinds of mental health disorders can help bring awareness to warning signs or symptoms one may see in oneself or a loved one. Identifying your mental health status is the initial phase of finding the care one needs to have good emotional, social and spiritual wellness. A person is more likely to report having a mental health diagnosis depending on several demographic factors such as gender, age and race/ethnicity.
